IronFox is Firefox-based browser for Android.

Features

On initial setup the browser prompt the users with a greeting menu with options and toggles about
DNS-over-HTTPS with Quad9 as default provider, JavaScript Just-in-time compilation (JIT) disabled
which users should not re-enabled, Safer Browsing enabled, language spoofing to en-US and the
installation of the content blocker uBlock Origin.

Other defaults include search suggestions, passwords/payments methods save/autofill disabled and
Enhanced Tracking Protection in strict mode, HTTPS-Only Mode enabled.

Recommendations

This browser is not recommended unless users insist on using a Firefox-based browser. Preferably
they would switch to Cromite or Vanadium if on GrapheneOS.

Limitations

IronFox being based on Firefox suffers from the lack of security features an Android.

Being a very small project and its sustainability is not guaranteed. Users should pay close attention
to its development and update cycle.
